GFI MAX RemoteManagement – No communication from Managed Antivirus Agent (US System Instance)

Hi Everyone,

In the early hours of Friday 23rd March, a regular database maintenance routine took longer than expected to complete on our US system instance. This impacted system performance and may have resulted in false positive “No communication from Managed Antivirus Agent” alerts being sent, for which we would like to apologize.

While remediating the problem, we took the opportunity to perform some tuning that should improve the performance of the storage and processing of communication from Managed Antivirus Agents and minimuze false positive alerts such as this. Ultimately, we intend to let you control the interval which would cause an alert to be sent if we have not heard from the Managed Antivirus Agent (but have heard from the Advanced Monitoring Agent etc).
