Troubleshooting of Load in North America Data Centers for MAX Mail

9:40 AM Pacific — Our engineering team is continuing to investigate the high load at several datacenters.  There is evidence of a significant spike in inbound traffic.  Messages are being processed, but more slowly than normal, and some inbound messages are being deferred.  We are continuing to investigate and are working on determining what corrective measures can be taken, and we will post further updates here.
