MAX RM – Dashboard v5.45.1 Release – Failed Login Check, Agent Auto-Uninstall, MAX Mail Integration Updates

Hi Everyone,

I’m pleased to announce that Dashboard v5.45.1, Agent v9.7.2 (RC) and OSX Agent v1.2.0 (GA) are being released overnight, so that they will be available in advance of the working day tomorrow, Friday 26th of September. In this release we’re introducing the following key Dashboard updates:

  • New “Failed Login Check”: The new check, which replaces the previous “Hacker Check”, offers a detailed view into the causes of failed logins on a device (e.g. event IDs with counts, associated IP addresses and user names), helping you respond more quickly and decisively to potential security threats and login issues

  • Agent Auto-Uninstall: When you remove a Windows or OSX device from the Dashboard, the system will now automatically remove the Advanced Monitoring Agent and any associated feature agents, leaving the device behind clean and orderly (requires Agent v9.7.2 and above)

Together, the new Failed Login Check and the Agent Auto-Uninstall feature address the two most requested features on IdeaFactory, so we’re especially delighted to bring you these enhancements and to help improve the quality of your service while saving you time and effort.

In addition, we are publishing several updates to the newly integrated MAX Mail service, including the activation of the Issue Alerts, a more user-friendly layout of the Edit Domain and Edit Account dialogs, and a new Information Overview dialog for domains showing MX records and outbound relay hosts.

We very much hope you’ll find these new features and updates a great enhancement to the Dashboard and encourage you to take advantage. Please see below for the full release notes.

Thanks,

Brian
Product Manager @ MAX
