Patch Management error “The system cannot find the file specified”

Dear customers,

we are aware of an issue with the Patch Management feature today and yesterday showing the error “The system cannot find the file specified” on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012.

This has been investigated by the LanGuard team, and it was determined that this is due to an error error with Microsoft’s Offline Scan Catalog. Microsoft haa published an updated catalog file to resolve this issue. The LanGuard Team are currently working on implementing this into Patch Management to correct this error, at which time the error will resolve itself without any further customer action required.

We will update this post once the fix has been verified.
