SolarWinds RMM: Dashboard Service Release, Dec 5th

We’re pleased to let you know we’re releasing an updated Release Candidate agent for Windows in this week’s RMM release. It addresses a performance issue with the SNMP Check and also contains an update to the Backup Check to add support for Quest Rapid Recovery (formerly known as AppAssure).

With regards to our recent Backup & Recovery “Documents” release, we’re delighted with the great response so far. This brand new, single-click Backup solution is designed especially for safeguarding users’ key documents on workstations. To help you take advantage, here’s a short release video to get you started….

In the background, we’re also working on an issue affecting some of the AV products in the Antivirus Update check. As soon as the update is ready we’ll put out another RC Agent, and let you know when it’s available.

This week’s RMM release is now live in the Asia Pacific region and selected European territories. The US / Americas region and the majority of the European locations, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and the Nordic countries are due to follow in the next few days. We’ll let you know once the update is available in each territory.

BUGFIX: Corrected an issue with Managed Antivirus where some installations were failing due to an expired certificate

BUGFIX: Address issue with SNMP Check related to check processing to ensure it consistently reports the correct failing/passing state
