SolarWinds RMM: Service Release with New Windows GA Agent

We’re pleased to let you know that this week’s RMM release is currently rolling out across the territories, and is expected to be available to all partners by Thursday.

In this update we are promoting the Windows 10.9.12 Agent to be the new ‘Generally Available’ (GA) Agent. In includes hardening improvements for both Patch Management and Take Control feature installs. Please upgrade your devices to use the new agent to ensure you have the latest updates.

  • Important: Make sure you update the agent version on all your devices regularly to take advantage of feature enhancements, bug fixes and security updates. Go to ‘Agent’ > ‘Agent Auto-update Settings’ to upgrade your devices.

We’re also pleased to highlight an improvement to technician notes in RMM. Going forward, there’s no longer a maximum number of days for how long the notes will show. It means that notes you add will stay visible for as long as you care to keep them.
