MSP RMM: Scheduled Maintenance, Sunday 23rd April

Our hosting partner in the UK has informed us they’ll be performing systems maintenance to their network on Sunday 23rd April that will impact Dashboard availability in the UK, and Web Protection service availability in EMEA for devices on agents older than v10.4. Other regions are not affected by this work.

The maintenance schedule is as follows:

  • UK region: Sunday 0:00am to 4:00am BST
  • Europe region: Sunday 1:00am to 5:00am CET

MSP Backup & Recovery and MSP RMM: Scheduled Maintenance in Australia region, 20th April

Our ISP partner in Sydney, Australia, will be performing an optical fiber cable cut-over on Thursday, 20th April. The work will affect the availability of the Backup and Restore options in MSP Backup & Recovery and in the integrated version in MSP Remote Monitoring & Management, for a maximum of 15 minutes between 12:00 AM and 06:00 AM Sydney/NSW time. Other regions are not affected. MSP RMM Service Release, Agent 10.5.10 GA, April 11th – Completed

We’re pleased to confirm Dashboard v6.39.3 has rolled out to the US/Americas region and is now available in all territories. The update contains a set of customer service priorities and bug fixes.

In addition, we’re making a new Release Candidate (RC) Agent available, RC v10.5.12, and are promoting Agent v10.5.10 to be the new Generally Available (GA) Agent. Please update your Windows servers and workstations to the new GA Agent as soon as convenient, so you can take advantage of the many feature enhancements and bug fixes that are included in the latest upgrade – please see release notes below for details. UPDATE: MSP Backup & Recovery: ISP issue impacting backup connectivity: US West Coast

UPDATE: I would like to report that the connectivity issues appear to be resolved for the majority of the impacted devices. This has been an Extremely High Priority issue for us and our technicians have been working around the clock with our ISP providers and regional providers to address this issue.  We will continue to investigate the root cause behind this issue and to monitor the storage nodes and impacted devices to ensure operations return to normal.

Missed backup jobs should start automatically once connectivity is regained.  If you continue to see connectivity or missed backups please restart the Backup Service Controller service and attempt to manually start a backup job. If this does not address your issue then please register or update an existing case via our support portal.  If you are dealing with a down system or the backup or recovery situation is critical please contact support directly via phone.  Note, that we are experiencing a higher than normal volume of support calls and you may experience increased hold times.

MSP Backup & Recovery: ISP issue impacting backup connectivity: US West Coast

Our technicians are currently investigating reports of slow or limited network connectivity for some backup devices pointing to storage nodes in our Los Angeles, California data center.  We believe the issue to be isolated to specific ISP segments along the route, so not all devices will be impacted. We are working with our providers to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We are experiencing a higher than normal volume of support calls due to this issue which may increase hold times.  If you believe you are experiencing this issue and it is a non-critical situation for you or your customers then please open a support ticket online in our support portal.  This will allow our support queues to remain clear for more critical backup and data recovery issues.

We will update this site once we have additional information and/ or an ETA for issue resolution.
